专利说明:

The present invention relates to a piece of furniture with a first piece of furniture, a second piece of furniture and with at least two furniture hinges, by means of which the first piece of furniture and the second piece of furniture are pivotally connected to one another, the furniture hinges being spaced apart from one another along a longitudinal direction of the furniture parts and between the first furniture part and the second furniture part is formed a gap.
A gap can be formed between two furniture parts, which are connected to one another by two or more furniture hinges, in at least one relative position of the furniture hinges, which can cause a painful crushing when fingers are engaged and the furniture parts move relative to one another. In addition, the joint mechanisms of the furniture hinges are visible through the gap, which does not meet the increasing need for aesthetics and clear lines. In addition, the penetration of dirt into a furniture body is promoted by the gap.
The object of the present invention is to propose a piece of furniture of the type mentioned at the beginning in which at least one of the aforementioned disadvantages is avoided.
This is solved according to the invention by the features of patent claim 1. Further exemplary embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent patent claims.
According to the invention it is therefore provided that at least one cover is provided which extends at least between the first furniture hinge and the second furniture hinge and through which the gap can be covered at least in sections.
It can be provided that at least one furniture hinge has an articulated axis, a longitudinal direction of the cover running essentially parallel to the direction of the articulated axis of the furniture hinge.
According to one embodiment, it can be provided that the cover is connected to, or preferably releasably, connected to, at least one furniture hinge.
It is also possible for the first furniture part and the second furniture part to be pivotally connected to one another via three or more furniture parts, the cover extending at least between the three or more furniture hinges.
The width of the cover can be dimensioned such that the cover has a smaller width than the largest occurring width of the gap.
Protection is also sought for an arrangement for use with such furniture, the arrangement having a first furniture hinge, a second furniture hinge and a cover of the type in question.
Further details and advantages of the present invention result from the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures. It shows:
